The Dual Credit Psychology Project

“CHAT” – Cochrane Healing Arts Time
In response to students at risk of disengaging from school due to the anxiety they experience from social and academic pressures, the Cochrane Healing Arts Time (CHAT) Room was opened to provide the opportunity to use flexible instructional materials, techniques, and strategies to meet their unique needs. The CHAT program leads students experiencing anxiety, physical, sensory, cognitive, speech, learning, social and academic stressors through a process of self-exploration and resolution. This process helps students learn to express themselves and ultimately enables them to be more productive and successful within an educational setting.
