CHAT” – Cochrane Healing Arts Time

In response to students at risk of disengaging from school due to the anxiety they experience from social and academic pressures, the Cochrane Healing Arts Time (CHAT) Room was opened to provide the opportunity to use flexible instructional materials, techniques, and strategies to meet their unique needs. The CHAT program leads students experiencing anxiety, physical, sensory, cognitive, speech, learning, social and academic stressors through a process of self-exploration and resolution.  This process helps students learn to express themselves and ultimately enables them to be more productive and successful within an educational setting.

Morinville Community High School PACK Day

Morinville Community High School (MCHS) has implemented a full day flex concept, PACK Day, modeled after a post-secondary Seminar Day. PACK Day permits students to experience a number of relevant learning choices to address remedial, emergent or divergent needs. This current school semester, MCHS is piloting three of these days.
